Liga MX: Veracruz announce transfer list ahead of Apertura 2018
As the World Cup and the Apertura 2018 approaches, Liga MX teams are starting to make adjustments ahead of the new season. A handful of Mexican teams have already announced their list of transferable players and Veracruz was one of the latest to do so.
Los Tiburones Rojos announced a 10-man transfer list this Wednesday, May 30 that does feature some interesting players. The list is comprised by Miguel Cancela, Martin Bravo, Jose Velazquez, Lucas Rodriguez, Matias Santos, Oscar Vera, Juan Albin, Luis Sanchez, Edgar Andrade and Jehu Chiapas.
Several of the players on the list did not even play with Veracruz in the Clausura 2018 and clearly need to find another team. This was the case for Lucas Rodriguez, Jose Velazquez, Miguel Cancela, Oscar Vera, Matias Santos, Luis Sanchez and Jehu Chiapas.
The players that did have participation include Martin Bravo, Juan Albin and Edgar Andrade and they are some of the more enticing names on the market for Los Escualos. The Ascenso MX is a likely destination for most of the players on the list, but some Liga MX teams may still opt to give players like Bravo and Albin a chance.

Juan Albin, a 31-year-old attacking midfielder is the most intriguing name on the list as he has shown flashes of potential in the past with his passing ability and vision. It would not be surprising to see another Liga MX team or a decent South American team take a chance on him.
Matias Santos, a 24-year-old midfielder is also a solid player as he achieved success in his native Uruguay with Montevideo Wanderers from 2012-2017. Santos never really received an opportunity to play with Veracruz and could still be a decent option for teams in the market.
