Liga MX: Puebla announce nine-man transfer list ahead of Apertura 2018
Puebla is a team that overachieved expectations in the Clausura 2018 season as it managed to finish in 10th place with 23 points. The team looked solid under the leadership of manager Enrique Meza and have rewarded the veteran coach with an extension.
La Franja has also emphasized recently that it will be holding on to key players like Canadian striker Lucas Cavallini and Colombian fullback Bryan Angulo.
Los Camoteros are also looking to get rid of a few players that had limited activity as the team announced a nine-man transfer list this Monday, May 28. The list includes the following players: Carlos Gutierrez, Patricio Araujo, Luis Gerardo Venegas, Abraham Carreno, Oscar Rojas, Francisco Torres, Matheus Ribeiro, Felix Micolta and Fernando Isaac Ruiz.
A lot of the players on the transfer list are veterans like 36-year-old Oscar Rojas and 35-year-old Francisco Torres that could possibly be heading to the Ascenso MX.
The player that had the most participation with Puebla last season on the list is Luis Gerardo Venegas, who played in 11 games. While the rest of the players had little to no playing time during this past Clausura 2018 tournament.

Felix Micolta is one of the more intriguing players on the list as he recently played with Colombian team America de Cali. “El Cocodrilo” has shown flashes of potential in the Liga MX in the past and is a versatile player that can play across the field.
It will be interesting to see if any top-flight Mexican teams take a chance on Micolta and where the rest of these players end up as well.
