Mexico international Kenti Robles crowned champion with Atletico Madrid Femenil
The Liga MX Femenil has been one of the greater revelations in women’s world football this year. The league is growing at a rapid rate as fans are generating more interest and breaking women’s world football attendance records along the way.
The league is also helping out the Mexico women’s national team with other players around the world also making names for themselves. Charlyn Corral had an amazing season in Spain, finishing as the top goalscorer in the Liga Iberdrola.
Kenti Robles also had a great season in Spain and won the Liga Iberdrola title with Atletico Madrid. Las Colchoneras won the league title last Sunday with a 6-1 win against Zaragoza that ensured their first-place position with 77 points.

The Atletico Madrid ladies were presented with their trophy this Saturday, May 19 and Robles showed off her achievement through social media platforms.
Robles and Atletico Madrid Femenil are not done yet, they are still in pursuit for the Copa de la Reina championship. Las Colchoneras are currently in the quarterfinals and just defeated Valencia Femenil 2-1 in the first-leg of this series this Saturday.
