Liga MX: Jonathan Fabbro extradited to Argentina on sexual assault charges to goddaughter
Jonathan Fabbro did not enjoy a very fruitful recent Liga MX career from 2016-2017 and is now in a world of trouble off the field. The former Paraguay international played with the two most recent teams that relegated in the Liga MX, Chiapas and Lobos BUAP.
With Chiapas, Fabbro scored seven goals in 27 games and with Lobos BUAP he only managed to score a goal in 14 appearances.
The Argentine’s career came to a halt, in late December of 2017 as he was arrested on the 20th of the month on sexual assault charges on a minor.
That would have been gruesome enough but the details make this case even worse as it was reported that the 36-year-old committed sexual assault on his 11-year-old goddaughter.

Fabbro was recently handed over by Mexico Interpol agents to Argentina Interpol agents at the Mexico City airport. The former Liga MX player is set to stand trial in Buenos Aires and will likely never step on a football pitch again.
