Liga MX: Monterrey coming in strong for Rodolfo Pizarro
It was confirmed on Monday, May 7 that Chivas’ defender Oswaldo Alanis is heading to Spain with Getafe via the club’s president Angel Torres. Rumors and legitimate links have been surrounding Rodolfo Pizarro of Chivas recently and he may also be heading out of Guadalajara.
Pizarro himself confirmed that teams from Holland, Spain and Italy have interest in him but a team from Mexico has joined the race. Monterrey made headlines this Monday by parting ways with manager Antonio Mohamed and have now been linked to the Chivas’ star.
La Aficion reporter Jesus Hernandez said through Twitter that Monterrey offered 16 million dollars. Hernandez said that this other is more than what European teams are offering, which may mean that Pizarro is going to stay in Mexico.
Rayados pone 16 palos por Rodolfo Pizarro, se habla de un arreglo entre directivas. Las ofertas de Europa son menores

It has also been reported that Rayados also have a deal for Pumas UNAM’s Jesus Gallardo by ESPN’S John Sutcliffe. Pizarro could be a great addition to Monterrey but for the player’s sake, a move to Europe would be more beneficiary to his growth.
