Liga MX: Chivas’ Rodolfo Pizarro admits to having offers in Europe
Chivas had a horrible season in the Liga MX Clausura 2018, finishing in 17th place with only 15 points. Many players, including Alan Pulido and Orbelin Pineda, were underwhelming and had very poor seasons compared to what they have done in the past.
One player that did shine on Matias Almeyda’s team was Rodolfo Pizarro, who had two goals and two assists in Liga MX play and was Chivas’ best player by far this season. The Clausura 2018 has not even ended yet and Pizarro is already being linked to a move away from El Rebano Sagrado.
It was recently rumored that the Mexican player was linked to Monterrey but links to European football have also been established. Pizarro talked to the press after an autograph signing and confirmed the links to Europe himself.
Pizarro said, “There are many teams interested, especially in Europe and I am analyzing what I will do, what suits me and where I am going to be happy”. The current Chivas’ player did go into specifics and mentioned Holland, Italy and Spain as possible destinations.

Pizarro did mention that he is happy at Chivas but this would obviously be a huge step forward in his career at 24 years old.
