Javier Hernandez scores in West Ham’s 3-1 loss to Brighton
This Saturday, West Ham United fell 3-1 to Brighton Hove & Albion away from home on Matchday 26 of the English Premier League. Both teams were right in the middle of the table heading into the encounter and a more contested game was expected than the one that was seen at Falmer Stadium.
Javier Hernandez did manage to score a goal in The Hammers’ 3-1 loss to keep his good run of form going. “Chicharito” now has two goals in West Ham’s last three Premier League games and has now found the back of the net six times this season.
The goal itself was spectacular as the Mexican striker showed his pace after a string of two passes from his teammates. Hernandez burst through Brighton’s defense then cut towards the right before releasing a potent strike that found the top right corner of Brighton’s net.

While “Chicharito” continues to be in form, David Moyes’ side is now winless in their last three EPL games. The London-based side is now in 12th place with 27 points while Brighton Hove & Albion have improved to 13th place also with 27 points.
