Franco Armani and Lucas Pratto have arrived in Buenos Aires to perform medical exams and officially sign for River Plate. Both signings should help Los Millonarios abundantly this year as the team is struggling severely currently in 17th place with 15 points.
Armani is coming over from Colombian team Atletico Nacional on a four million dollar transfer fee and a three-year contract. The Argentine goalkeeper had been with Los Verdolagas since 2010 and really solidified himself as one of the best goalkeepers in South America, winning 13 titles with the Medellin side.
Lucas Pratto is coming over from Sao Paulo and the Buenos Aires team had to pay an astronomical transfer fee around the 13 million dollar mark for him. The former Boca Juniors’ forward has signed a contract until the summer of 2022 and Marcelo Gallardo will hope to see his form from his days at Velez Sarsfield.
¡Bienvenido, @PrattoLucas12! 🙌🏻

The 29-year-old striker should help create a great partnership with either Ignacio Scocco or Silvio Romero, who could be joining the team soon from Club America. La Banda is also eyeing Tigres’ midfielder Lucas Zelayaran and will surely focus on having a fruitful Copa Libertadores run.
