This Sunday, Arsenal capped off 2017 with a disappointing 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns. As the trend has been lately, Alexis Sanchez was the standout player from the match with a strong performance just before the January transfer window.
The Chilean winger has been playing like he really wants to stay at the North London club or like he is trying to show other teams what he has to offer. Either way, the 29-year-old has been in fine form lately with three goals in his last three Premier League games.

Sanchez did not score in this game against West Brom but did play a crucial role to avoid a humiliating loss away from home. The former Barcelona man caused James McClean to put the ball into his own net from a potent free kick in the 83rd minute.
The Chile international played all 90 minutes, had three successful dribbles, three key passes, won eight of nine duels, was fouled twice and created one big chance. Alexis’ future with The Gunners is still uncertain, especially now with both Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus injured for Manchester City.
