This Saturday, Liga MX side, Lobos BUAP officially announced the signing of 34-year-old centre-back, Facundo Erpen.
The Argentinian defender has been playing professionally since the turn of the century and in Mexico since 2012. He has played most of his time in the Liga MX with Atlas but has also had loan spells with Puebla and Monarcas Morelia. Erpen has only been part of one title-winning team in Mexico so far, the Clausura 2015 Puebla team that captured the Copa MX championship.

The veteran has been a consistent starter for most of his Liga MX career but was used as more of a role player in 2017 with Morelia and Atlas. Erpen played 11 games in the Apertura 2017 with Atlas, six games were as a starter and he managed to score a goal but did score an own goal as well.
Lobos BUAP had a fantastic Apertura 2017 finishing in 10th place and will be looking to potentially be a playoff contender in the Clausura 2018. The team from Puebla’s main objective is to avoid relegation but it has made some intriguing signings this offseason like Erpen, Gabriel Cortez and Irven Avila.
