Jorge Almiron Wants Ivan Marcone For Atletico Nacional
Jorge Almiron recently took the reigns of the most successful team in Colombia, Atletico Nacional. The Argentine boss is coming from a successful stint with Lanus in Argentina, where he won three titles including a league title in 2016.As most managers do when reaching a new club, Almiron is already looking to bring in some players from his former club. The 46-year-old manager told Radio Caracol that he is looking to bring in defensive midfielder Ivan Marcone from Lanus.

Marcone played with Arsenal de Sarandi from 2008-2015 then made his move to Lanus in 2016. The 27-year-old is very solid defensively and is a very physical player as well that should suit the Colombian league. The Argentine midfielder has been linked to a move to the Liga MX with Club Tijuana as well but a move with his former boss in Colombia does seem more likely. However, the move to Mexico could prove to be a much greater challenge for Marcone and it will be interesting to see where he does end up.
